S. Jakarta Sudinhub Controls Traffic in Lenteng Agung

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) manages traffic on Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa together with police and Satpol PP personnel.

The purpose is to smooth the traffic flow and discipline road users

Traffic management is done to make traffic around Lenteng Agung Station to be an Orderly Traffic Area. 

South Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Christianto explained, vehicle flow meeting in some points makes vehicle speed becomes slow. Traffic management is considered can make a smoother traffic flow.

"The purpose is to smooth the traffic flow and discipline road users, whether private or public transport drivers and pedestrian," he conveyed, Tuesday (2/27).

According to him, transportation management is done to follow up local residents complaints and unravel traffic congestion because many public minivan stopped near Lenteng Agung Station.

He conveyed, 16 traffic cones are installed during traffic management to separate traffic that leads to Pasar Minggu and Jagakarsa. Thus traffic meetings can be prevented.

"Right and straight lanes lead to Pasar Minggu. While left lane leads to Jagakarsa," he informed.

He added, public transport that will pick up or drop off passengers can use left lane. Thus traffic in right lane will not be hampered.
